Welcome to Heidiland

The Bündner Herrschaft is known all over the world as the home of Heidi, Peter and the Alpöhi. But it is equally "the small region of great wines", and you will get to know both, the region and its delicacies, in a playful way during the wine team games. Upon arrival at the winery, you will be greeted with a welcome drink and informed about the course of the wine team games. Before you get started, fortify yourself with a snack of local specialities: fine Salsiz and alpine cheese from Maienfeld await you.

The six disciplines

After the snack, the games begin. Your team is divided into smaller groups that can compete with each other in the following six disciplines:

• Blind tasting: Three wines, three characteristics. But which feature characterizes which wine?
• Wine bottle slalom: Your colleagues grope around "blind". Can you guide them safely through the course?
• Corking and uncorking wine bottles: How fast is your team at opening and closing the bottles?
• Harass race: Which team has the most skillful technique and applies the best strategy?
• Wine cork darts: A good eye is needed when aiming, a sure hand when throwing. Who will hit the bull's-eye?
• Tausenrennen: Who will bring the precious cargo in the traditional vintage containers safely to the finish line?

The wine team games starts at about 1 pm and lasts about two hours. At the final ranking ceremony, the winning team will be honored.
