The hut in the Muotathal mountains

Would you and your team like to leave everyday life completely behind and immerse yourself in a seminar in the middle of the mountains or simply strengthen your team spirit? The stylish mountain hut in the wild and romantic landscape of the Muotathal is a unique place to stay. The hut is located away from mass tourism in the idyllic natural surroundings of the Central Swiss mountains and can accommodate 17 people. It has five bedrooms, a large lounge with tiled stove and Swedish stove as well as a kitchen with gas and wood stove. In the hot tub under the starry sky, you can enjoy alpine wellness at its finest on request.

Your program could look like this

Arrival day
1.00 pm: Guided tour of the Hölloch (optional)
16.30: Arrival at the Berghaus and check in to your room
17.00 hrs: Welcome aperitif
18.00 hrs: Cooking the 3-course dinner together
20.00 hrs: Hotpot (optional), Jass and other games

Departure day
08.00 am: Breakfast
10.00 am: Clear the room and mountain house
10.30 am: Jungle hike or snowshoe trekking (optional)
14.30 hrs: Farewell

Location of the hut and access

The house is situated at 1275 m above sea level on the old Pragelpass road near the villages of Bergen and Guetentalboden. In summer you can drive right up to the house. From Muotathal you can reach the house in two to three hours on beautiful hiking trails. In winter, the hut can only be reached by four-wheel drive vehicles equipped with chains and after an easy 20-minute snowshoe trek. You will be accompanied on the hike or trek by local guides. If you wish, you can also be guided through the Hölloch, one of the world's largest cave systems, during your stay in the hut.
