Two wines at the walk
Your tour of the famous wine-growing region of Vaud, Lavaux, starts at the train station of the village of Grandvaux, at the train station of Cully or directly at the winery. The winemaker will guide you through his vines and give you a first wine to taste at a stop. The walk continues through the pretty village of Grandvaux to the statue of Corto Maltese, the famous cartoon character created by the Italian cartoonist Hugo Pratt. Here you will enjoy one of the most beautiful views in Lavaux and receive the second glass of wine to taste.
Three more wines and a cold plate
After the tour of the wine cellar, taste three more wines in the Carnotzet or, if the weather is nice, on the great terrace overlooking Lake Geneva. Water is available à discrétion. To accompany the fine local wines, you will be spoiled with cold platters prepared for you by a "countrywoman" from regional products (SRF, "Landfrauenküche", 2019). In addition to cheese and meat (100 g/pers.), fresh bread is also served.
