With organic herbs from the monastery garden
The first Solothurn gin is produced in the former Capuchin monastery - using completely organic ingredients. These grow directly in the monastery garden: the herbs and fruits form the bouquet for the fine drops, which are distilled by hand in a regional distillery.
Pure or as a long drink
If you want something very special for your stag party or the start of your birthday celebration, the gin tasting is perfect. Your group will be welcomed by an expert in the cozy gin room of the monastery. This was once the sacristy. In a relaxed atmosphere, you can then enjoy either three types of gin of your choice straight or a long drink with nettle gin.
The varieties
KapuGin is produced in different flavors. If you prefer a sweet, floral aroma, the gin with nasturtium (42% by volume) is the right choice. The gin with nettle (42% by volume) tastes more grassy - but unlike the plant, it does not burn. The hop gin (42% by volume) is not reminiscent of beer, but of the hop plant. The fig liqueur (32% by volume) tastes of ripe fruit from the monastery garden. And the GlühGin (32% by volume), which is available during the Christmas period, is just as good as mulled wine as a hot drink with cider.
