Build your own raclette oven
Welcome to the raclette oven construction! In a room furnished for the workshop in the cosy country inn, the carpenter will show you what the raclette oven looks like, which you make yourself from wood. Starting from a basic shape, each oven is individually designed - here you can let your imagination run wild. First you draw your subject on the wood, then you saw it out with a jigsaw. The shape is now sanded, drilled if necessary and beautifully finished. If there is enough time, you can also decorate your subject with a burning iron. Finally, the wooden parts are screwed together and your stove is ready for use.
Raclette fun in the country inn
Now inaugurate your personal raclette oven in a cosy atmosphere. In the Emmentaler Landgasthof, a raclette chat with various types of cheese and all the trimmings is waiting for you. Should the oven construction and the culinary part take place at a place of your choice? No problem: you organise your desired location yourself, our carpenter will then come to you on site with all the equipment for building the oven (please note the travel costs).
Other activities for larger groups
In order to avoid waiting times at the sawing stations for larger groups (max. 8 people can saw at the same time), it is advisable to book additional activities for groups of 20 people or more (e.g. visit to a distillery, hornussen, outdoor bowling, carriage rides, forging, etc.). This way one group can always do carpentry while the other does something else. Let us advise you personally and put together a tailor-made programme for you.
