You don't need a large garden to enjoy home-grown vegetables - in this course you will create your own mini vegetable patch.

Mini garden for the office

A fresh salad or a crunchy carrot - and from your own garden? It's possible, even without a vegetable garden and even without a balcony. In this workshop, you will plant your own mini garden that will fit on any windowsill. It's not just at home that edible planting enhances the space - why not beautify the sills in your office or company building and grow fresh vegetables for your lunch break at the same time?

You choose the varieties

During the course, you and your team will learn which types of vegetables thrive in the smallest of spaces. With the help of the professionals, you will select suitable plants and place them in a container of your choice that is at least 15 centimetres high and has a capacity of around three liters. On request, the course leader will organize suitable containers for your group.

Organic quality

You will be provided with soil, seedlings and seeds - all of organic quality. You will also receive a course handout full of useful tips and tricks. You can use this to plant more containers after the workshop if required.

The workshop can take place at the course location in Winterthur or Zurich, or on request at a location of your choice anywhere in Switzerland.
