This safari is the ideal excursion for anyone who loves animals and wants to explore the idyllic Emmental countryside by e-bike.

Discover many animals

Your tour begins in the pretty little town of Burgdorf. Here, you and your group will receive your rental e-bikes and the route of the animal safari via smartphone. You then set off in the direction of the Emmental "Höger" and "Chräche". The declared aim of the tour: to discover as many different animal species as possible.

On the pastures, which characterize the landscape shortly after Burgdorf, you will meet lively contemporaries: Alpacas. So animal number one has been found and can be ticked off the safari list that you receive at the start.

Visit to the Lebenshof

You continue through cool forests and along small streams - deer particularly like to hang out here. The tour then takes you through the lovely Emmental postcard landscapes, where cows and sheep on the pastures complete the picture. But many other animals can also be seen along the way: Horses, turkeys, dogs and pigs. Let yourself be surprised!

At the end of your tour, pay a visit to the Hashüsli life farm, where pets and farm animals with difficult fates can find refuge and healing. A short guided tour will give you an insight into the work on the farm. If you wish, you can then enjoy a cool drink and a piece of cake before making your way back to Burgdorf. The tour takes two and a half hours.

After many exciting animal encounters, you have the opportunity to reflect on the day's experiences over a leisurely dinner in one of Burgdorf's local restaurants.
