Take a walk with the cute alpacas through the forest and along country lanes and then enjoy an aperitif at the Emmental farm with a wonderful view.

Over the Emmental hills with alpacas

Do you want to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life, slow down, enjoy nature and experience something very special? Then book this trekking tour and walk through the beautiful Emmental valley with an alpaca by your side. The walk takes about an hour (3.5 km, 100 meters in altitude). Before and during the walk, you will learn more about the history and needs of these fascinating, gentle animals.

Afterwards you have the opportunity to eat in the cozy "Fondü-Stübli". There is a classic fondue with bread, including gschwellti, salad and dessert on request. Coffee, tea, mineral water and Kirsch are included in the price.

Your companions, the alpacas

Nine alpacas currently live on the Emmental farm. You can choose the animal that suits you best for the walk:

• Lilly: trusting, cheeky and impatient
• Benian: elegant, aloof and brave
• Boris: peaceful, patient and reserved
• Gandalf: demanding, spontaneous and intuitive
• Hansruedi: fearless, charming and self-confident
• Tscheggi: shy, reliable and moody
• Sir Fred Lui: lovable, insecure and polite
• Knorrli: friendly, uncomplicated and greedy
• Ozli: gentle, confident and attentive

The different-colored alpacas are all cute and lovable and look forward to walking through the Emmental with you.

Fine refreshments after the stroll

After your stroll you can enjoy an aperitif in the courtyard. In warm weather, homemade syrup, mineral water of your choice, coffee, a glass of wine or a beer are served outside with pastries or snacks and a wonderful view of the Alps and Emmental hills. In cold, wet weather, the aperitif is served in the cozy old cowshed. Afterwards you can enjoy a fondue on site if you wish.
