Fun and games at the Alpine Games
Your excursion begins either at Waldegg in Appenzellerland or at a location of your choice. Here you can expect rustic alpine games with tasks relating to farming, customs and life on the alp. You will practise six of the following disciplines:
- Kuhmelken
- Country parcours
- Hornussen
- Peasant skittles
- Rubber boot throwing
- Stone throwing
- Question time
- Cheese guessing
- Taler swinging
Economical lunch
If you are playing the games in Appenzellerland, we invite you to dine in the "Schnuggebock" restaurant. The Schnuggebock was built using traditional craftsmanship from wood up to 400 years old from several demolished Appenzell houses. Lunch becomes a nostalgic experience in the original rooms. We serve you Grosis soup, followed by Chäshörnli and Siedwurst sausage with delicious homemade apple sauce.
If you do not wish to hold the games in Appenzellerland or the Schnuggebock restaurant, we can organize lunch for you in a restaurant of your choice.
