Craft activities for your team

Put together your own craft workshop. In Pieterlen or at the location of your choice, a kind of craft market will be set up, consisting of three to ten different booths. Each stand is supervised by a specialist. You and your employees can then try your hand at the craft activities that fascinate you the most. The booths can be visited in groups or individually.

The various crafts

You can choose from the following offers:

• Smithing: forge one or two chain links that are joined together to form a chain. Other possible objects: a small knife, a barbecue skewer, a scouring hook or a fire beater.
  
  
• Rope making: With the help of a rope harness, make your own jump rope, dog leash or short rope.
  
  
• Screen printing: Print on a T-shirt, fabric bag or paper (poster, postcard) with your own subject or an existing template.
  
  
• Cereal mill: Grind grain into flour with various hand mills, process it into a dough and bake simple pita rolls directly on the embers.
  
  
• Writing quill: Make your own writing quill from a turkey feather or reed.
  
  
• Fire Iron: Learn to start a fire with a flint and a fire iron. Mastering this was essential for survival not so long ago.
  
  
• Coffee roasting: The green coffee beans are roasted in a roasting pan, ground with a hand mill and finally brewed.
  
  
• Making ointment: A wonderful healing ointment is created from various herbal oils and with the right recipe.
  
  
• Shoot an arrow bow or throw an axe: No craftsmanship, but a fun way to train your marksmanship.
